Message for the President - June 6, 2023
Spring sports are just about over, summer is arriving and it's time to pay attention to the upcoming soccer season. As has become our standard practice there is no physical fitness test and no in-person meeting over the summer. All of your obligations will be completed online. Please note carefully the tasks as listed below. They are mandatory and you must complete them in order to be able to receive games this season.
1) It is time to register with the NHIAA. You should already be registered with the NHSOA and paid those $ 90.00 dues online. You need to register with BOTH. Go to the website www.nhsoa.net. Under the "Registration" heading click on NHIAA registration. Click on the "2023-2024 School Year Registration" tab.
Follow the prompts.
Click ALL the sports you might officiate in the 2023-2024 school year.
At the end pay the $65.00 fee with a credit card.
Save the confirmation emails for registration and payment that they send you.
If by some "small" chance you still have not registered with the NHSOA, go back to the Registration heading on the website, click on NHSOA Registration and follow the prompts.
2) In early July you will receive information about viewing Dennis Ordway's Supervisor's Information and Report online. It is a simple task to click on each slide and read the info. You will receive a confirmation once you have completed this task, which also is electronically recorded by NHSOA.
3) In early July you will receive information about viewing Ted Kitsis's Interpreter's Information and Report online. This too is a simple task to click on each slide and read the info. You will also receive a confirmation once you have completed this task, and your completion is electronically recorded by NHSOA.
4) In July you will receive information from Ted about taking the soccer exam. Note the deadline carefully once it is sent. It is an open-book test. New rule books will be mailed to you by Dave Bruno once he has received them from NFHS.
Lastly, we still need more officials! If you know anyone interested in becoming a referee give their contact information to Ed Meyer (603-707-2590 or emeyer100@gmail.com).
I am looking forward to another fruitful season on the pitch with all of you!
Odie
The Rev. Dr. Robert "Odie" Odierna
